J&S Designer Flooring is now J&S by STARK! We are proud of this acquisition by STARK Carpet, which gives our design community even more of what they have come to expect for over 30 years. J&S by STARK expands its hallmark high-quality standards for product, service and selection by uniting with STARK Carpet.

Our rebranded showroom continues to be operated by J&S co-founder, Sima Hakakian, enabling STARK to best showcase its exclusive carpets and rugs, as well as many other broadloom and rug resources.

 

J&S DESIGNER FLOORING HISTORY

J&S Designer Flooring founders, Javid & Sima Hakakian, truly embody the perfect American Dream.

Javid & Sima created their business in 1989 in their home. Through hard work, integrity and an absolute passion for putting client’s needs ahead of their own, grew the business into New Jersey's premiere area rug, carpeting and hardwood showroom.

 

J&S expanded to a 20,000 square foot showroom in the heart of Morristown, but the level of care and attention given to every single client stayed still the same as when the company was in its infancy.

The unrivaled collection of 4,000 area rugs in every style, over 5,000 broadloom samples and a complete selection of hard surfaces coupled with impeccable service is why J&S Designer Flooring became the go-to source for the design community in the New Jersey and New York Metropolitan areas.

The newly minted J&S by STARK is proud to be part of a legacy that welcome thousands of customers in to their homes time and again over the past three decades.
